Chasing Redbirds

        I have finished George's Marvelous Medicine. Now I've been reading Chasing Redbirds. The author of this book is Sharon Creech. This book talk about a girl named Zinny Taylor. She have a huge family with a bunch of brothers and sisters. She have the total of 3 sisters: May, Bonnie, and Gretchen. She also have the total of 3 younger brothers: Will, Sam, and Ben. Next to her house( and I mean RIGHT next to it, there is a door between the two house) were aunt Jessie and uncle Nate's house. Zinny was more close to her uncle and aunt than to her parents.
       Aunt Jessie and uncle Nate have a daughter. Her name was Rose. She was born the same time as Zinny. So they became closed friend. They sleep together, go to the same school, and mostly everything together. But then, a tragic thing happened, Rose caught a fever and die. Aunt Jessie and uncle Nate didn't seem to be sad. They started to treat Zinny like she is their own daughter. Plus, they hardly ever visit Rose's grave.
       The tragic didn't stop, after a while, Aunt Jessie die for no reason. She stayed in the closet and, she open the closet and shout, "I hope it's a miracle I'm about to see!" and then she lay back and closed her eye, and she was dead.
       Everyone was so sad about Aunt Jessie's dead. Zinny and uncle Nate was the saddest. Uncle Nate was so sad he becomes crazy. He always carry a big stick around to whack snakes (because aunt Jessie hate snake) and he always chase his Redbird(aunt Jessie).
     As for Zinny, she talk less than she usually is. (before she is very very quiet) She now only play at the trail she found. She even persuade her parents to let her camp there for the Summer.
     I just stop there.

Book I'm reading

The book I'm reading right now is George's Marvelous Medicine. The author of this book is Roald Dahl. The same author as Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The book talk about a boy named George. He lived with his parents and his grandma. But his parents often leave him stay with his grandma because of work. His grandma like to tell him things that aren't true that makes him scared. Like she said "sometimes, if you lucky, you gets a beetle inside the stem of a stick of celery. That beetle will be very tasty. So, he really hate his grandma. Then, he locked himself in the kitchen because he don't want to see her face. He thought of a medicine that makes grandma to be nice like the other grandma. He put a lot of weird stuff in, like: shampoo, toothpaste, lipstick, medicine, pig medicine, chicken medicine, cow medicine, horse medicine, curry powder, mustard powder, chili sauce, peppercorns, perfume, deodorant, face cream, and lots and lots more... Then he give the medicine to his grandma and she drink it. Something weird happens to her...she turned into a giant!... I just stop there because i haven't finished reading.

Book I Have Finished In The First Quarter

           Flush- this book talk about a boy named Noel who try to save the ocean. A guy named Dusty pollute the ocean by flushing all the bad things down to the ocean.(He is a casino ship's owner) his family and a woman named Shelly( who is actually Dusty girlfriend!)
           Boom- this book talk about two boys, named Charlie and Jimbo, found out that their teacher was aliens from another planet. In the end, Charlie, Becky(Charlie's sister), and Jimbo have exploded the planet because the aliens threatening them.
           The battle of the labyrinth- Percy(the main character) found out that there's a secret labyrinth. The Titans were going through the labyrinth to fight the demi-god. So Percy and some other demi-gods were trying to find the Titans. They have found them, but the Titans still invade the camp. Finally, the demi-gods win the battle.
           Charlie and The Chocolate Factory- this book talk about a boy named Charlie. He won a golden tickets to visit Mr.Wonka's Chocolate factory. There are also four other children who won the golden tickets too. He have a purposed for sending out the tickets, he want someone to take over the factory. Charlie was his favorite and the only one left so Charlie wins the ticket.
